About the event
Our bodies create tension to help support the same movements and postures we spend the most time in and dance is an incredible way to melt this tension when we are given playful permision to move in ways we may not be used to. Â
The theme for this next movement practice is 'Seduce Your Resistance'. We will be dissolving tension in the ankles, knees, low back, upper back and neck (pretty much everywhere) to sultry and seductive tunes having developed an awareness of the important balance of our body's natural curves. Our culture spends A LOT of time in linear movements as we tackle the tasks of our day. Swerving, circular movements helps to hydrate our tissue and joints melting not only the resistance in our body's but also our minds.Â
